Specialist business advisory firm FRP has expanded its team in Southampton with the appointment of a restructuring advisory director and an insolvency manager.
With more than 14 years’ experience, James Prior has spent his career providing restructuring advice to SMEs, owner-managed businesses and large corporations on the South Coast and throughout the UK.
His experience spans sectors including construction, real estate, healthcare, leisure and hospitality, as well as logistics and financial services. He has advised businesses, lenders and government agencies on matters that cover all stages of the corporate lifecycle.
Meanwhile, Liam Burrows joins the FRP team with more than nine years’ experience encompassing a range of corporate and personal financial restructurings.
At FRP, he will work across the firm’s UK office network to manage the restructuring case portfolio, helping to maintain stakeholder communications, and to ensure that cases are progressed efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
The appointments follow the launch of FRP’s Southampton office, which opened in March this year and is led by restructuring advisory partner Sandy Kinninmonth.
“The launch of the new office in Southampton is an exciting opportunity for FRP and it is a real pleasure to be joining the team,” said James Prior.
“They have a reputation for exceptional client service and a proven track record of delivering tangible results, so to be working with Sandy to help the firm expand its service offering at such a crucial time for businesses is a brilliant opportunity.”
Liam Burrows added: “I’ve been hugely impressed by the results FRP has achieved for its clients, and am really looking forward to working with James, Sandy and our colleagues across the business to continue to deliver exceptional outcomes.”
Sandy Kinninmonth said: “I am delighted to welcome James and Liam into the FRP team. They bring a real depth of experience and expertise to their roles, and will help us continue to provide a market-leading service to our clients, while continuing to grow our practice across the region.”
