Worcestershire-based PSE Offline Marketing has appointed a head of strategy following a period growth.
Adam Lucas joins the family-run business from a six-year spell at Sainsbury’s and Nectar, most recently leading the acquisition and growth marketing team at Sainsbury’s Bank.
He said: “From the first meeting I knew we were onto something. I wanted to be able to make an impact across a whole company.
“It’s refreshing to see a business plan with such a focus on sustainable, profitable growth and it was clear as well that if a commercial case could be made for something, the directors would move quickly to implement it – something that’s hugely empowering and motivational for any team.
“For me this move is about building on the great work that’s already been happening and using my experience to help accelerate the businesses’ growth plans over the next few years while keeping PSE the fantastic place it is to work for and to do business with.”
The appointment follows a raft of client wins and new brand projects across a variety of sectors, including the FA, Photobox, CAMRA and Adecco.
Chairman Phil Newton said: “It’s a really exciting time for PSE at the moment with both our team and client base expanding. Our plan is to create at least seven more jobs in the next 12 months and will have a team of at least 35 by the end of 2024.
“While we’ve seen a massive revolution in digital marketing over the last two decades, in our experience, offline marketing is bucking the trend of other forms of print and is being increasingly used by top brands to boost online sales and traffic and we’re immensely proud to be spearheading such campaigns for our clients.”
